I love to sew and am always working on one project or another. My favorite era for historical costuming is early bustle (about 1870-1875), but I also love cosplay based on anime, manga, or Takarazuka costumes. Right now I am spending a year in Japan and don't have access to my sewing machine, so things are going slowly. My ongoing projects are a new bustle ensemble and the white star diamond dress of Empress Elisabeth (based mostly on Ootori Rei's costume from the 2002 Hanagumi production of Elisabeth.
